NEW SPRING GUEST COLLECTION

I'm Milagros Cabral, and I want to tell you firsthand about the new Mariquita Trasquilá collection, Manzanilla. For those of you who don't know us, Mariquita Trasquilá started as a multi-brand store in Trebujena, Cádiz. Over time, we've grown and are now present in the Andalusian capital, Seville, with our store located on Calle Cuna, a space where we continue to expand, even designing our own collections of guest dresses . From our beginnings, with less ambitious collections and fewer styles, we've gone on to create collections as extensive as this new season's guest dress collection, featuring 54 unique designs for spring/summer, which we'll talk about a little bit today.

THE SETTING: THE SEA BARRACKS

This time, our photoshoot took place in the magnificent Marine Barracks , located in Chiclana de la Frontera, right by the sea. This unique place, with its light and architecture, became the perfect setting to reflect the essence of our collection.

WHY "CHAMOMILE"

This collection is called Manzanilla, in homage to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, the city where I live. Sanlúcar is known for its horse races and, above all, for manzanilla, that golden, salty wine that reflects the light and character of the south. We also wanted to add a touch of local flavor to the names of the dresses, using the article "La" before them, such as La Pastora, La Pastrana, La Micaela, and La Macarena, as a nod to our way of speaking in Cádiz.

The Manzanilla collection is designed for all types of guests, from young and sophisticated to those with a more classic style. In each design, we aim to capture a piece of ourselves, creating versatile and comfortable dresses. Every piece is perfect for weddings, communions, and spring events, highlighting its elegance and practicality. Its soft tones, unique prints, lightweight fabrics, and on-trend colors reflect the freshness and vibrancy of this new collection.

The choice of lavender in different shades is no coincidence. It's one of our favorites.

DRESSES FOR MOTHERS OF FIRST COMMUNION AND BAPTISM

On special days like a First Communion or a Christening, choosing the right dress is key. For these occasions, we've opted for soft, sweet colors like white, cream, and nude tones. These colors not only reflect the essence of an important day but also allow mothers to connect with the star of the show: their son or daughter. Comfortable and elegant designs, with sleeves and lightweight fabrics, add sophistication and perfectly complement the emotions of the celebration.

The Manzanilla collection will be available very soon, but we wanted to share a sneak peek of what we've been working on. Each design has been created with guests who have trusted us in previous seasons in mind, and based on their preferences, this new collection has emerged, dedicated to events such as daytime weddings, communions, and special celebrations this spring. And let's not forget the accessories: wide-brimmed hats, fascinators, handbags, and earrings, all handcrafted in our small workshop in Trebujena, Cádiz. Each piece is handmade. This is just a small sample of what you'll find in the new spring guest collection. Very soon you'll be able to discover all the styles in our online store and in our physical stores in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Seville, on Calle Cuna.
