A 10-year journey: My story with Mariquita Trasquilá

We celebrate 10 years with you

Dear Ladybirds,

Today I want to share with you a very special journey, a chapter in the history of Mariquita Trasquilá : Our tenth anniversary! 🎉

This message is a bit more personal because I'm celebrating 🥳 Not just me, but the whole incredible team that accompanies me. A decade ago, when I started this adventure in my hometown of Trebujena, I never imagined I would one day lead a team of over 40 women and a few men. I was 40 years old at the time, and as I always say in interviews, opportunity doesn't just come once in a lifetime; it comes many times, and each of us gets on at the station we want.

Years ago, I had a dream: to make dresses for special occasions accessible without compromising on quality and design. And so our story begins. Ten years ago, Mariquita Trasquilá was born, always keeping in mind that ideas come from small things. Little by little, we grew, following the trends.

We jumped on the social media bandwagon, our first platform being Facebook, our first followers, our first customers… and that's how we got hundreds of women in Spain, back in 2014, to make their first online purchase with us. These were women who had never shopped online before and were afraid to do so. We strive to maintain an ongoing relationship with all of them. As we always say, we're both very far away and very close at the same time.

Over the years, we've shared wonderful moments, overcome challenges, and, of course, created collections that have been part of your special occasions. Every garment we design carries a piece of our heart and our passion for what we do.

Over the years, we've worked to offer accessible, high-quality fashion with a wide variety of styles for every occasion. And, why not mention it, at affordable prices. Today, our own collection goes up to size 48/50.

We will continue designing with love, always thinking of you, and offering pieces that make you feel authentic.

It doesn't matter if you've been following us since yesterday or forever; if you're reading this blog, it's because you're interested in what we do, and that deserves to be celebrated.
