Black Friday becomes Black Days
The date known worldwide as Black Friday changes to Black Days within the Mariquita Trasquilá team, becoming a full week of discounts throughout the store.
Black Friday is one of the most important days of the year for businesses worldwide, stemming from the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA. The date varies, as it's always celebrated on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. This is a federal holiday in the United States. While not a holiday in the rest of the world, the term originated in Philadelphia over twenty years ago. On Thanksgiving Day, the city experienced a surge in pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Police began using the term "Black Friday" to manage the heavy traffic in American cities. Later, the term "Black Friday " emerged within the retail sector, as businesses saw their accounts go from being in the red to being in the black thanks to the increased sales following Thanksgiving. Currently, it is not a public holiday, but retailers see it as a great opportunity to boost their sales before Christmas and increase the number of shoppers considerably.
How is Black Friday celebrated in Spain?
Black Friday arrived in Spain at multinational retailers a few years ago, and we at Mariquita Trasquilá implemented it in 2014. When our team started, people kept asking us what Black Friday was, as it hadn't yet taken hold in small shops. We researched the day, how to implement it, and came up with the idea. It was a sure bet to ensure all our customers could enjoy a significant discount on all Mariquita Trasquilá clothing on Black Friday. Over the years, and as has happened this year, the day has expanded to a whole weekend, resulting in a huge increase in discounts and sales for our customers. And just this week, Mariquita Trasquilá has organized a whole week of sales that we've called "Black Days." With discounts of up to 70%, it's an opportunity that none of our customers, including the new Ladybirds who are discovering the world of Mariquita Trasquilá, are missing from, from Tuesday to Sunday.
What to buy at Mariquita Trasquilá on Black Friday?
The real question should be... what not to buy? :P Since most of the products on the website and in the physical store are very, very affordable for everyone. It's a great way to refresh your entire wardrobe with seasonal pieces and others to have ready for a special occasion. We recommend some key pieces for these Black Friday sales, available both in-store and online, but even so, the best thing to do is visit our online shop or our store, because there you'll see that everything we say is absolutely true. The MT Ángeles dress is elegant, comfortable, beautiful... We have many positive adjectives to describe it, but just looking at it is enough to make your eyes wander. Save it for a special occasion because it won't let you down. 
This selection of animal print sweaters is a huge hit. They're lightweight yet warm. What more could we ask for? A low price? Mmm... granted! From 13 to 15 euros... We're really going all out for our Black Days !
