Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, especially if you're with the people you love most. For us, Mariquita Trasquilá is a home and the team is our family. That's why Christmas at Mariquita Trasquilá is celebrated in such a special and intense way. Today, we have the honor of sharing with you a little piece of this feeling with a letter written by our CEO, Milagros Cabral.

It Smells Like Christmas

Have you noticed that Christmas smells different? I don't know if it's just me, but the smells mixed with the lights that flood the streets make you see what's around you in a different way.

Perhaps the holiday gives us back for a few days the sensitivity we had when we were children. It makes us more observant, more emotional, wanting to be close to the people we love and remembering all those who can no longer be with us.

For me, Christmas smells of nostalgia and happiness. It smells of wishing for a better world, of dreaming and focusing on making those around me happy.

And part of that smell is all of you, my dear ladybirds, because you are part of my life, as friends, colleagues, followers... because you also make this world, my world, more beautiful.

To each and every one of you, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and that every day of 2023, we fight for our dreams, big or small, but always our own.

How we celebrate Christmas

For us, Christmas means family, friendship, and celebration, as well as joy and good times. It's the perfect time of year to get together and toast to the happiness of being together for another year, to set problems aside, and enjoy our traditions. It's time to hug tighter, laugh louder, and dance crazier. It's also an opportunity to think about what goals and resolutions you want to have for the coming year. Our purpose for 2023 is your happiness, your joy, your good times, and for you to choose us to accompany you at your most desired events. We may not share the same blood, but we know that we are a family and it doesn't have to be Christmas to show each other the loyalty, sincerity, love, and, of course, camaraderie that makes the Mariquita Trasquilá team something special for everyone who knows us. From Trebujena and even Andalusia, Christmas is art, passion, and love. A feeling that we carry within us every day of the year, but which is more palpable at this time, because, like you, we love to surround ourselves with our people and for love to never stop flowing.
