That's why Christmas at Mariquita Trasquilá is celebrated in such a special and heartfelt way. Today, we have the honor of sharing a little bit of this feeling with you through a letter written by our CEO, Milagros Cabral.
It smells like Christmas
Have you noticed that it smells different at Christmas ? I don't know if it's just me, but the smells mixed with the lights that flood the streets make you see your surroundings in a different way. Perhaps Christmas will restore, for a few days, the sensitivity we had as children. It makes us more observant, more emotional, makes us want to be close to the people we love, and reminds us of all those who can no longer be with us. For me, Christmas smells of nostalgia and happiness . It smells of wishing for a better world, of dreaming, and of focusing on making those around me happy. And you, my dear ladybirds, are part of that Christmas smell because you are part of my life, as friends, companions, followers... because you, too, make this world, my world, more beautiful. To each and every one of you, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and that every day of 2023, we fight for our dreams, big or small, but always our own.
How we experience Christmas
For us, Christmas means family , friendship , and celebration , as well as joy and good times. It's the perfect time of year to get together and toast to the happiness of being together for another year, to leave our problems behind, and to enjoy our traditions. It's a time to hug tighter, laugh louder, and dance wilder. It's also an opportunity to think about what goals and resolutions you want to have for the coming year. Our goal for 2023 is your happiness , your joy, your good times, and for you to choose us to accompany you at your most cherished events. We don't share the same blood, but we know we are family , and it doesn't have to be Christmas to show each other the loyalty, sincerity, love, and, of course, camaraderie that makes the Mariquita Trasquilá team so special to everyone who knows us. From Trebujena and even Andalusia , Christmas is art, passion, and love. A feeling we carry within us every day of the year, but one that's more palpable at this time of year, because, like you, we love being surrounded by our loved ones and letting the love flow freely.
